I AM ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS - PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR MORE INFORMATION
There are times we all come to that we need some support. I am honored to sit with individuals during these times to work on whatever struggles you may be going through or pain you have endured. I enjoy listening and hearing about the personal journeys of others and believe it is important to address the needs of the entire person.
My goal as a therapist is to assist you in overcoming your challenges and to help you become the person you want to be.
Learn About Me and My Methods
The situations we face and endure are as unique as the individuals in them and must be treated that way.
I am currently accepting new adult individuals as well as couples seeking support in many different areas. I have a great deal of experience, both personally and professionally, working with First Responders and their families and have a thorough understanding of the culture and stress these careers bring for everyone involved.
My main area of focus is to "help the helpers." Which is why I see mainly First Responders, Medical staff and those that serve or have served in one capacity or another. Whether this is working with individuals on stress or trauma related to their profession, going through transitional times such as divorce, separation, blended families, new babies, or even illnesses. I understand these times can be extremely hard to work through.
I have completed specialized trainings in Trauma, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), DBT, IAFF Peer Support, Law Enforcement Perspectives, CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) and Marriage Strong.
I was born and raised in the Salem area and take great pride in being a part of the community. I received a Master's degree in Counseling from George Fox University. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from Corban University in Psychology and Family Studies.
Therapy sessions range from $150-$200. I accept some insurance plans, as well as self-pay. Please call to discuss this further.
“Kori has a gift for counseling. She is able to enter in to a persons life deeply and yet remain grounded, professional, wise, directive, and extremely empathetic. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing space to heal, process and grow.”
“Kori was amazing to work with! She truly cares about people, and makes you feel at ease, no matter what the topic is. She was always encouraging and helped me to find inner strength as I worked through different situations. I can honestly say that after working with Kori, I am a better person, wife, mother, and friend. I have recommended her to friends and family, and will continue to do so.”
“Kori has been outstanding to work with. She's easy to talk to and immediately puts you at ease. I've recommended her to several friends and will continue to do so!”
